The absolute majority of the population of Armenia wants to divert their children from military service, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this at today's meeting of the government, APA reports citing news.am.

He said that this factor seriously affects the issue of family planning.

"The reason for this is that people think about not sending their children to military service. Another problem is that a citizen with 4 sons has this idea," Armenian PM concluded.
