Leaders of the CIS countries and countries applying for BRICS membership and cooperation have been invited to the organization's summit in Kazan, Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the Russian president said, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, among the contenders (candidates for BRICS membership) are countries that lead influential integration associations in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Noted that the 16th BRICS summit will be held in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, on October 22-24 this year.
