Western envoys are encouraging other countries, including former Soviet republics, to cut ties with Russia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the V Antalya Diplomacy Forum, APA reports.
Lavrov emphasized that Russia does not act in the same way.
“We are not running around the territories of NATO member states — neither our ambassadors nor other representatives behave this way even in the current conditions in European countries. We do not replicate the policies of the West, particularly the United States and Europeans, which have been pursued since the Biden era and continue today. They visit neighboring countries, including those that were once part of the same empire and the Soviet Union, and try to influence states that cooperate with Russia in areas such as the economy, defense, security, law enforcement, and customs based on various agreements,” the Russian foreign minister noted.
