Lavrov: West sent over $160 billion to Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed that the West provided Ukraine with more than $160 billion "over the year of the special military operation," with military assistance standing at $75 billion in an effort to support the "Zelensky junta's decision to go on fighting until the last Ukrainian," APA reports citing Teletrader.

Speaking in an interview with the International Affairs magazine, Russia's top diplomat predicted that the West's faith in Ukraine's "success on the battlefield" will weaken the longer the conflict lasts as "taxpayers in Western countries will have no choice but to carry the burden of the [Kyiv's] unpaid debt, causing more inflation and lower living standards," Lavrov underlined.

At the same time, the West is trying to force Moscow's partners from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to end cooperation with Russia and escalate regional military and political tensions, according to the Russian official.
