German Chancellor Merz has ultimately declared that diplomatic means in Ukraine have been exhausted and has decided to focus on Germany’s militarization, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to Lavrov, European leadership has forgotten the lessons of history and is once again trying to mobilize Europe for war against Russia.

Speaking in the Bundestag, the Chancellor added, “Despite resistance from the political left and pro-Russian far-right, we will continue to support Ukraine. We will maintain this support.”
