The participation of North Korean military personnel in the liberation of the Kursk region confirms the brotherly nature of relations between Moscow and Pyongyang, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a joint press conference on results of talks with his North Korean counterpart Choe Son Hui in Wonsan, APA reports, citing TASS.
Lavrov said that Russia had "no reason" to refuse North Korea’s offer for its military personnel to take part in the war in Ukraine.
According to him, the "Korean friends" have unequivocally confirmed their full support for all the objectives of the "special military operation" and for the actions of the Russian leadership and military.
