Relations with Armenia remain close and allied in nature, although certain difficulties exist, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, Sputnik reports.
According to him, the European Union is trying to draw Armenia into its sphere of influence, which affects the processes in the region.
“In such a case, Yerevan risks losing all of its privileges within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). There will be an opportunity to discuss all accumulated issues at the organization’s summit to be held in May,” he noted.
