Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has called the scenario of holding a second round of talks with Ukraine in the Vatican “unrealistic,” APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
Lavrov stated Russia is preparing a memorandum regarding the settlement with Ukraine.
The Russian Foreign Minister also described the fact that a second round of talks may take place as “positive.”
Lavrov noted that Moscow is not considering the option of moving negotiations with Ukraine to the Vatican: “It would be strange for two Orthodox countries to discuss issues on a Catholic platform.”
