Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, APA's Moscow correspondent reports citing Russian Foreign Ministry.
It was reported that Lavrov said in his conversation with Araghchi that Russia condemned Israel's military operation against Iran, which is in violation of the UN Charter and international law.
The Russian Foreign Minister confirmed his readiness to continue to assist in efforts to resolve the situation around Iran's nuclear program, as well as de-escalate the conflict between Iran and Israel.
