Ukraine must withdraw its troops from Donbas to bring an end to the active phase of the “special military operation,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Russia has not set any deadline for Ukraine to do so.
Peskov emphasized that Russia will continue the special military operation until all stated objectives are achieved.
The Kremlin spokesman added that Kyiv should withdraw its troops from Donbas “today, or better yet, yesterday.”
“Ukraine’s withdrawal of its troops from Donbas would facilitate a transition to a political and diplomatic resolution of the conflict,” he said.
