Kremlin spokesperson denies Russia's demand on withdrawal of NATO troops from Eastern Europe

The Kremlin commented on Romania's statement that Russia used the first round of negotiations with the United States to demand the withdrawal of NATO troops from eastern Europe, APA reports citing Pravda Romania.

"No, it's not true, it's not true. Our position is that the advance of military infrastructure towards our borders is of concern to us. Everyone knows our position, it's not a secret to anyone", Kremlin's spokesperson emphasized.

It should be noted that the Romanian President's advisor on defense and national security, Cristian Diaconescu, said that during the talks between Russia and the United States in Riyadh, Russia demanded NATO to withdraw from Eastern European countries. According to him, the United States rejected this demand.
