There is still no precise agreement on the date and time of a potential meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He added that contacts between Moscow and Washington are ongoing at various levels.
“There is still no precise understanding regarding the date and time of a potential meeting between Putin and Trump. I cannot provide specific information about this matter. We continue to have contacts with the Americans at various levels and through different channels,” the Kremlin official emphasized.
Peskov also stated that US President Donald Trump’s plans to visit Saudi Arabia in May have no connection to Russian President Vladimir Putin: “No, these are solely the plans of the head of the American state; they have no connection to Putin. Putin does not have such plans yet.”
