According to him, there is nothing specific about the contacts between Putin and Macron.
The Kremlin spokesman noted that the idea of the French authorities to create a communication channel with Russia is sound: "The idea of the necessity of dialogue channels is sound, and we share it. It was not we who initiated the closure of all forms of communication; it was the Europeans who did it."
Peskov emphasized that they can only welcome the idea of restoring communication.
