Russia has developed a certain immunity to Western sanctions, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov while commenting on the 18th package of sanctions imposed by the European Union against Moscow, APA reports.
"We are accustomed to living under sanctions. Of course, Russia will have to analyze the new package of sanctions in order to minimize the damage it may cause. But in addition, each new package of sanctions also has negative effects for the countries that support it. This is a double-edged sword," Peskov said.
Note the package of sanctions announced by the European Union against Russia today targets the Nord Stream projects, Russia's oil sector, as well as its military production potential.
