Disagreements over the Ukrainian conflict should not disrupt mutually beneficial relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, APA reports, citing TASS.
"We are aware of the position of the Azerbaijani leadership on Ukraine. We have disagreements here. The President (of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev) has taken such a position from the very beginning. We did not agree with him from the very beginning," the Kremlin official noted.
Peskov hopes that disagreements over Ukraine will not hinder relations between Moscow and Baku.
