The Kremlin has refused to disclose the details of the negotiations conducted by Kirill Dmitriev, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, with the Trump administration in the United States, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that Dmitriev himself would provide information regarding the outcome of the negotiations.
"It is clear that Dmitriev is holding meetings in Washington within the framework of his mandate, based on the president’s instructions. It is understandable that he is the president's special envoy, and it is clear what issues he is dealing with. Dmitriev will provide information once the contacts are concluded," emphasized the Kremlin spokesperson.
Note that Putin's special envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, visited Washington on April 2. It was reported that he would have talks at the White House with Trump's special advisor Michael Wolt.
