Russian President Vladimir Putin is open to contacts regarding the situation in Ukraine, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, Putin had a fruitful dialogue with the African delegation and this dialogue will continue.
"It is clear that President Putin is open to dialogue, contacts, a very productive dialogue took place with the African delegation on Saturday and this dialogue will continue, the other side of the issue is the potential impact of such negotiations. The current position of Kyiv does not create a stable basis for negotiations," Peskov stressed.
