European Union sanctions and Europe's actions could undoubtedly hinder the implementation of a fuel agreement between Russia and the United States, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, European countries themselves are active buyers of Russian oil and petroleum products.
"Russia sells its energy resources, which are competitive products, on global markets and will continue to do so," he said.
Peskov stated that the diesel agreement with the US represents a mutually beneficial aspect of bilateral cooperation. He noted that the agreement is not directly related to Russia's position on Ukraine.
The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that diesel supply agreements serve the interests of Russia, the United States, and global energy markets.
