It is aimed at disrupting the negotiation process—not only against President Vladimir Putin, but also against Donald Trump—with the goal of undermining his efforts toward a peaceful settlement. However, the presidents are continuing their dialogue, and such provocations are not capable of shaking it.
The diplomatic consequences of these actions will be a hardening of Russia’s negotiating position on Ukraine. As for the military consequences, our servicemen know how, with what means, and when to respond,” the Kremlin official said.
