Kremlin: Details of potential security guarantees for Ukraine cannot be disclosed at present

"Possible security guarantees for Ukraine are a very complex topic and remain a subject of negotiations and discussions," said Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian President, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

Peskov emphasized that it is currently not possible to outline the specific parameters of such guarantees.

"This is a matter of negotiations and discussions. At this stage, it is not possible to speak with any clarity in this context. It is a highly complex issue, and of course, it must and will be discussed. Naturally, no one will name concrete parameters at this point," he said in response to a question about what kind of guarantees might be under discussion.

It should be noted that after his visit to Washington, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and Special Presidential Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries, Kirill Dmitriev, stated that Ukraine's accession to NATO is entirely out of the question, but a form of security guarantee could still be acceptable.
