"The Kremlin condemns the United States' strikes on Iran and expresses deep regret over the growing escalation and involvement of new actors in the conflict," said Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
He noted that the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear facilities is of serious concern and requires further investigation.
The Kremlin spokesperson also emphasized that President Vladimir Putin is set to meet with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi today.
