“There is nothing in the published transcript of the Putin-Orban conversation that could harm relations between Russia and Hungary,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the published transcript of the Putin-Orban conversation can be seen as material supporting the Hungarian Prime Minister.
“This transcript portrays the Hungarian Prime Minister as a pragmatic politician defending the interests of his country,” Peskov noted.
The Kremlin spokesman emphasized that many forces in the European Union and in Brussels do not want Orban to win another election and are playing into the hands of his opponents.
