The government of Kazakhstan is currently assessing the damage caused by the attack on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), Kazinform reported, citing Deputy Minister of Energy Erlan Akbarov, APA reports.

The deputy minister noted that after the attack on the CPC facility in Novorossiysk, oil transportation continues as usual.

“One pipeline is fully operational, and work is underway to connect the second pipeline to the system. Currently, there are no restrictions in the transportation process,” he said.

According to Akbarov, the government is assessing the damage caused to the remotely operated mooring device that was damaged.

“Matters of interaction with the Ukrainian side fall under the authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” Akbarov added.

Note that on November 29, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) Marine Terminal’s aquatory was attacked by unmanned boats.
