Russia and the United States will hold a meeting in Istanbul on February 27 to discuss the work of their embassies, said the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
High-level talks were held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on February 18.
The purpose of the meetings was to restore trust between the two countries and discuss the Russia-Ukraine conflict. These talks mark the first high-level meeting between Russia and the US in a long time.
The Press Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the agreements reached in Riyadh are being implemented gradually.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the Russia-US talks came as a surprise, and they learned about it from the media.
