Internet access will be suspended in Russia during the elections, said Chairperson of the Russian Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to her, Russians should not complain about it.
"Let's put 'you cannot access the internet' on one side of the scale and 'saving people's lives' on the other," the head of the Russian Central Election Commission said.
Note that parliamentary elections will be held in Russia in September this year. Official Moscow has not yet announced the exact date of the elections.
