Injury toll in drone attack on Kharkiv rises to 27, two persons killed

"The death toll from the Russian Shahed drone attack on Kharkiv has risen to two, with 27 people wounded, including five children," said Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov on Telegram, APA reports citing Ukrinform.

"Unfortunately, the number of victims has increased to two. Rescuers have recovered the body of another deceased person from the rubble," he wrote.

Search and rescue operations continue in the Kholodnohirskyi district, Terekhov added.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov clarified that the wounded include five children aged 5 to 17. Three children are in hospitals, while two others received medical assistance at the scene.
