Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces Anil Chauhan has paid a visit to Armenia, APA reports, citing Sputnik Armenia.
He was received by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
During the meeting, cooperation in the defense sector was discussed.
Pashinyan said he expects Chauhan’s visit to give new impetus to the development of relations between the two countries. Highlighting the centuries-old warm ties between the two states, he drew attention to the active dialogue underway in various areas.
The Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, for his part, noted that he held productive discussions with his Armenian counterparts with a view to further expanding cooperation.
