International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi is planning to visit Russia in early March, the agency’s press service told TASS, APA reports.

"We can confirm that Director General Grossi is planning a high-level visit to Russia in early March," the press service noted.

Earlier, Alexey Likhachev, CEO of Russian state nuclear power corporation Rosatom, expressed hope that Grossi would visit Russia on March 6. Initially, the IAEA chief’s visit was slated for mid-February, that is, following his travel to Kyiv and the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, but was rescheduled several times. Grossi said that during his visit to Russia he intended to discuss at the high level the outlook of the situation around the Zaporozhye nuclear facility.
