Russia has declared renowned chess player Garry Kasparov internationally wanted, TASS reports.
Investigators made the decision during the investigation into the criminal case against him.
Note that in December last year, a Russian court issued an in absentia arrest warrant for Garry Kasparov on charges of justifying terrorism.
Charges have been brought against Kasparov, who has been designated as a “foreign agent” in Russia and included in the register of terrorists and extremists.
He is accused under the Russian Criminal Code of publicly justifying terrorism and making calls for it through information and telecommunication networks, including the internet.
Garry Kasparov has been living outside Russia for many years.
