Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has announced the detention of a Russian citizen suspected of preparing a terrorist attack against a security agency employee in Moscow, TASS reports, citing the FSB’s Public Relations Center.
TASS reports that the FSB’s Public Relations Center released information in this regard.
According to the information, the woman, born in 1996, was detained while attempting to place an improvised explosive device under the car of one of the security agency employees.
A criminal case has been opened under the articles on attempted terrorist attack and illegal trafficking of explosive devices.
The suspect has been remanded in custody.
The FSB stated that the issue of additionally charging her with high treason is also under consideration.
