The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) is not holding talks with Telegram founder Pavel Durov, said FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the FSB had previously held talks with Durov: “We held talks before, but it did not lead to anything good.”
Roskomnadzor has announced that it has begun blocking Telegram in Russia, citing the platform’s failure to comply with Russian legislation. Claims have circulated in Russia that foreign intelligence services have access to private correspondence on Telegram.
