France is ready to give Armenia different range missiles, said French Minister for the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu who is on a visit to Yerevan, during his speech at a joint press conference after he meets with his Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan, APA reports.
Lecornu stated that if Armenia needs short-range, medium-range, and far-range missiles, they will also be part of the development of the country's defense potential.
The French minister did not disclose details of which military equipment will be sent to Armenia but he noted that “all of them are of defensive importance because the protection of both population and borders is a priority in the South Caucasus.”
He also added that in case of need, France will also provide Armenia with missiles for air defense systems.
