France has frozen accounts of Russian House in Paris, Russian Ambassador to France Alexei Meshkov said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the French authorities are trying to completely block the work of the Russian House in Paris.
"Attempts are currently being made to completely freeze the work of the Russian House by freezing its accounts. We are conducting difficult negotiations with the French on this issue, especially since the Russian House operates here on a legal basis, based on a bilateral agreement. Similarly, the French Cultural Center operates in Russia. This is a negative development of the events that have taken place in recent weeks," the ambassador stressed.
