Four employees of Gazprom Armenia have been arrested, Marina Ohanjanyan, spokesperson for Armenia's Anti-Corruption Committee, told Sputnik Armenia.
A senior official of the Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety Inspection Body has also been detained. One of the detainees has been placed under house arrest.
The case concerns the payment of bribes to obtain a positive opinion for the gasification of new residential buildings constructed in violation of regulatory requirements.
