Flight delays have occurred in Moscow due to heavy snowfall, APA reports, citing Russian media.
Since midnight, 21 aircraft at Vnukovo Airport have been unable to depart, while another 10 have been unable to accept passengers.
At Sheremetyevo Airport, the departure of 12 flights and the landing of 18 flights have been delayed. At Domodedovo Airport, 12 aircraft are waiting to take off, while another 7 have been unable to land.
Note that heavy snowfall has covered the capital region since last evening, and it has been emphasized that intense precipitation is expected to continue today as well.
