5 people killed in Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia region, APA reports citing Reuters.
Several people were injured in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions as well.
Among the injured there are children.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia region, Ivan Fedorov, stated that the Russian army shelled the village of Ternuvate, resulting in the deaths of 3 women. Several houses and shops were destroyed. Another person died as a result of an airstrike on a different settlement. In total, 9 people were injured and one house was completely destroyed.
As a result of a drone attack in the Sumy region, 6 people were injured. Governor Oleh Synehubov stated that a 7-year-old child was among the wounded. Several buildings were damaged in the attack.
Civilians were also injured in a Russian attack on Kharkiv.
The attacks took place on the eve of planned peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
