The explosion in the "Aliye Parusa" residential complex in Moscow was carried out by a suicide bomber who was a citizen of Armenia, APA reports citing Izvestiya newspaper.

It was stated that the explosive device might have been attached to the suicide bomber’s body. It is alleged that this was a MON-50 mine that the suspect detonated as he was exiting the elevator in the lobby of the apartment building of Armen Sarkissian, the founder of Arbat, an Armenian battalion fighting in Ukraine.

Both individuals died as a result of the explosion.

According to the publication, the mine was detonated by a previously convicted citizen of Armenia.

Currently, the investigation is considering several versions of the incident, including the "Ukrainian trace" and the redistribution of Russia’s tobacco market.

According to RBK, citing the SPARK database, Sargsyan was a co-owner of the TKLAB company, which is engaged in the wholesale of tobacco products.

Note that on February 3, an explosion occurred in the "Aliye Parusa" residential complex, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuring four others.
