The European Union and The North Atlantic Alliance are not interested in the real needs of the Armenian citizens, the republic is given the role of simply executing the will of the West, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia told TASS while commenting on the report on the Friends of Armenia Network and deepening EU-Armenia relations, crafted under the leadership of former Danish Prime Minister and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, APA's Russian bureau reports.
"The European Union and NATO are not interested in the real needs of the Armenian citizens. This is evident from the conclusion that the republic's turn to the West is a "low-cost" enterprise to reformat the South Caucasus under its needs. In these constructions, Armenia is exclusively given the role of executor of the orders from Brussels and Washington," said the Russian Foreign Ministry.
