“After the terrorist attack, the emergency exits at Crocus City Hall functioned normally however, as people fled, they encountered locked doors for workers,” said Emin Agalarov, Executive Vice-President of Crocus City Hall, in an interview with "Rossiya 24" channel, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

According to him, Crocus City Hall has quite a few fire exits: “The doors which were closed, are not fire exits - these are utility rooms. Those doors were opened with cards and only personnel were allowed to do so. People in terror and fear have looked for any way out. The emergency exits were working normally, there was a video of people still in the hall when the shooting started. There is the same video where the terrorists are still shooting. But in that video, the hall is almost empty. This means that about six thousand people left the building...Most of Crocus City Hall's guests managed to leave the building", noted Emin Agalarov.

He added that to build a concert hall similar to Crocus City Hall, at least $150 million is needed: “As far as I remember, the construction of Crocus City Hall 15 years ago cost 70 million dollars to my father Araz Agalarov. I think that it is impossible to build such a hall for less than 150 million dollars."
