Two drones were detected flying over the Moscow region on Wednesday, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram account, APA reports citing Telegram.
Sobyanin revealed that Russia's air defense systems shot one of the drones in the Mozhaisk district. The second one, however, crashed into a building under construction in the city of Moscow. "Emergency services were dispatched to the scene of the incident. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties," he shared.
Meanwhile, three airports in Moscow delayed their flights. Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a total of three drones were detected in the Moscow region.
