Draft law on launching of process of Armenia's accession to EU not included in Parliament's agenda

The draft law on launching process of Armenia's accession to the European Union was not included in the agenda of the Parliament's four-day session, said Arman Yeghoyan, the chairman of the commission that prepared the draft law, APA reports citing Armenian media.

He explained that the reason was the longer-than-expected time spent on discussing the draft law: "Since our discussions took longer than the period defined by law, it was not possible to include the draft law in this four-day session. I propose the document be brought up for discussion either at the next session or during an extraordinary meeting."

It was decided that the discussion of the document in the commission will continue on March 25.
