Citizens liable for military service who received a summons but did not appear at the military registration and enlistment office will not be able to replace their driver’s licenses, APA reports citing Oopstop.
In addition, they will not be able to register cars, said Mikhail Chernikov, head of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Russia. According to him, people who will be denied the relevant state service are already visible in the general information system.
“Those who did not show up with us are integrated by the database, and we see those who did not show up in the general federal system through the traffic police in particular. Such citizens will not be provided with public services: they will not be able to either replace a driver’s license or get it again, nor carry out any registration actions,” he said during a press conference.
