Dmitry Medvedev responds to Trump: Russia is right in everything and will continue on its path

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, has commented on the harsh statements made by US President Donald Trump in his address, APA reports.

Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will continue to follow its own path.

"If some words of the former Russian president (meaning himself - ed.) caused such an angry reaction from the US president, then Russia is right in everything and will continue on its own path," Medvedev emphasized.

Note that U.S. President Donald Trump has used harsh language toward Dmitry Medvedev.

"Tell Medvedev, the failed former president of Russia, who thinks he's still president, to watch his words. He's entering very dangerous territory!” Trump emphasized.

Recently, D. Medvedev threatened the U.S. with war if new sanctions were imposed against Russia. He also stated that it is not Trump's place to decide how Russia should negotiate with Ukraine.
