A woman who was injured in the bus explosion in Russia's southwestern city of Voronezh succumbed to her injuries, bringing the death toll from the incident to two, Voronezh region Governor Alexander Gusev said on Friday, APA reports citing Sputnik.
"Sad news. One more injured woman, born in 1966, died in emergency hospital №1. I convey condolences to her family and friends. As I promised, I will later provide more details on financial support for those affected by the incident," Gusev wrote on Telegram.
The health ministry said earlier that 19 people were injured in the incident.

The number of people who were injured in the recent bus explosion in Russia’s Voronezh has climbed to 18, Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev reported via his Telegram channel, APA reports citing TASS.
"The number of injured people has risen to 18, including one woman who has died," he noted.
The explosion went off at 21:11 local time in downtown Voronezh. One female passenger died in the hospital from the injuries she sustained. Three more people are in severe condition. The Russian Investigative Committee qualified the incident as provision of services that do not meet safety standards (Article 238 Part 2 of the Russian Criminal Code). The explosion site continues to be investigated, witnesses are being questioned.

At least 16 people were injured on Thursday in an explosion in a passenger bus carrying some 30 people in Russia's Voronezh, according to a spokesperson for the regional department of health, APA reports citing Sputnik.
"According to preliminary information, 16 injured, 13 people are in the emergency room No. 1. The condition of three people is serious (they are in intensive care, one person is in the operating room). The condition of five is moderate, two are closer to satisfactory, another two more people did not need hospitalization. The woman with an amputation of the lower third of the leg died in intensive care," the department said.
