The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has proven its indispensability as a guarantor of security for its member states, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated during the CSTO summit in Astana, APA reports citing TASS.

"The Collective Security Treaty Organization has become a key structure for ensuring stability and security across the vast Eurasian region. Amid today’s challenges, the CSTO consistently demonstrates its indispensability as a guarantor of security for all its member states," Tokayev said.

He emphasized that coordinated actions, mutual trust, and support among member countries strengthen the organization's collective ability to tackle even the most complex and large-scale challenges.

"It is important to note that the CSTO is not just a military partnership - it is a unique mechanism for uniting our efforts and resources to safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our nations," the Kazakh President pointed out.

The CSTO Collective Security Council session is being held in Astana on November 28. In attendance are the presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Representatives of Armenia’s leadership are not participating in the session.
