The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) hopes for the signing of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, CSTO Secretary-General Imangali Tasmagambetov said at the meeting of the organization's Parliamentary Assembly Council held in Bishkek, APA's Russia bureau reports.
According to him, there are certain positive developments in the Caucasus.
"This is a statement about the completion of negotiations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the agreement on the text of the interstate document between the two countries. We hope for the signing of the document as soon as possible and its implementation, which will pave the way for peace and stability in the South Caucasus," the CSTO Secretary-General said.
