CSTO Foreign, Defense Ministers, and Security Council Chairs held meeting in Astana-UPDATED

A joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has ended in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, the CSTO press service released information in this regard, APA reports.

The participants of the meeting exchanged views on the military-political situation in the member countries of the organization, the results and prospects of cooperation.

The meeting also discussed the issues of preparation for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The parties adopted a number of decisions on the approval of some documents submitted for discussion by the CSTO, as well as on strengthening allied relations, coordination on foreign policy and the potential of the Collective Forces.

A joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has begun in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, the CSTO press service released information in this regard, APA reports.

It was reported that the agenda of the meeting included a total of 15 issues, including the texts of the declaration of the CSTO Collective Security Council and the statement to be adopted on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
