Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office has opened a criminal case against the Archbishop of the Shirak Diocese, Mikael Adjapakhyan, for “open calls aimed at the forcible seizure of power,” said the mentioned agency, APA reports, citing Sputnik-Armenia.
Adjapakhyan himself has stated that he has not yet been summoned by the investigative authorities.
Note that in a recent interview, M. Adjapakhyan admitted to calling on the people to forcibly change the government.
