Criminal case against 19 defendants in Crocus City Hall terror attack separated from main investigation

A criminal case has been separated regarding 19 suspects in the "Crocus City Hall" concert hall terror attack, APA's Moscow correspondent reports citing the case materials.

A criminal case involving 19 suspects, including those who carried out the attack and their accomplices, has been split into a separate proceeding. Currently, 10 criminal cases involving 27 suspects have been combined into a single process. The 19 suspects will soon begin familiarizing themselves with the case materials.

More than 1,300 various forensic examinations have been assigned in the criminal case, including medical, ballistic, molecular-genetic, fire-technical, engineering-construction, fingerprint analysis, and others.

The investigation period has been extended until May 22.
