Turkish blogger Ogun Ozdemir, who is under criminal investigation in Armenia, has been charged with specific offenses, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
He is accused of "public calls aimed at forcibly changing the constitutional order and denying the country’s sovereignty."
An investigation into the case is being conducted under the relevant articles of Armenia’s Criminal Code by the country’s Investigative Committee.
It should be noted that the head of Armenia's National Security Service, Armen Abazyan, announced the launch of a criminal case against the blogger on March 31.
Earlier, Ogun Ozdemir conducted a live broadcast from Republic Square in Yerevan, extending Novruz holiday greetings to the Azerbaijani people. He also stated that he was on Azerbaijani land.
Following this incident, he gave an interview to a Turkish television channel.
